UET Lahore Alumni (Maqsood Ahmad Malik, 82-civil) Contribution In a major step towards student welfare and campus development, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir (T.I), Vice Chancellor of UET Lahore, inaugurated a series of 25, state-of-the-art RO water filtration plants and water coolers across the university’s main campus. These include installations in all 17 hostels and 4 mosque facilities, ensuring clean and safe drinking water for thousands of students, faculty, and staff.

This remarkable initiative has been made possible through the generous support of Engr. Maqsood Ahmad Malik (82-civil), a proud UET alumnus and CEO of M&J Engineering. The inauguration ceremony was held with full enthusiasm and was attended by all Deans and Officers of UET Lahore, signifying the institutional importance of this development. Engr. Ahmad Naveed, Incharge Alumni Office, UET Lahore, briefed the gathering about the project and acknowledged the instrumental role played by Engr. Irfan Ahmad, President of the UET Alumni Canada Chapter (UETAC), in initiating and materializing this impactful idea.

On behalf of Engr. Maqsood Malik, Engr. Hamza Malik and Mehmood Ahmad Malik participated in the ceremony. Engr. Hamza Malik expressed strong admiration for UET’s legacy and vast alumni network and reaffirmed his keen interest in becoming a part of UET’s journey of development and progress. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir (T.I) appreciated the generous efforts of the UET alumni community and highlighted various ongoing and upcoming initiatives being pursued in partnership with UET alumni for institutional uplift and student support. This project stands as a shining example of how UET’s alumni are shaping the present and future of their alma mater through meaningful contributions and sustained engagement.
